WinCVS 1.3B8 Hangs: msg#00347

Subject:	WinCVS 1.3B8 Hangs

I have been trying to use WinCVS 1.3B8 without success. It will checkout a
module from a repository, displaying all file names in the lower pane as
expected but it then hangs. I can easily checkout the same project using
commandline cvs on Windows and linux. This version of WinCVS was
recommended as we are testing a web-based developer collaboration
environment that uses CVS for source code management and this was the
version they recommend.

Are there any fixes or work-arounds for the hang?
