Ok, after looking at this some I found that the problem is that MacCVS isn't
retaining the File Type of my library. When I get the library, it comes
back as type TEXT.
I use MWPro 8 to build and I have added a file mapping that maps files
w/type TEXT and the extension .lib to use the MachO Importer. The settings
for this mapping match the MPLF settings in the file mappings panel.
However, MWPro8 still reports the binary as corrupt.
Which is the right setting in the preferences for MacCVS to get it to retain
the file type? Force Plain doesn't seem to work.

I definitely added the libraries as binaries. We have quite a few CFM
binaries in CVS as well and they seem to work just fine. I'll look into
this further and let you all know what I find out.

Did you mark them as binary files? It may be that MacCVS does not
recognize them as binary and so defaults to text.
FWIW, on the Mac, we should default _all_ files to binary unless they
are of file type 'TEXT'. This is what I do in CWCVS and it seems to
work well.
