Yes, I have (and without any problems, I may add), as I am sure many others
have as well, but there have indeed been at least three reports of this
(.cvsignore having no effect) a few months ago. A list search for
".cvsignore" should turn up the relevant posts pretty quick. AFAICT, none of
the reporters has yet found a solution (or hasn't posted so).
Here's the only real hint I could offer: Make sure that the HOME directory
you placed the .cvsignore in is indeed the one that WinCvs displays on the
"WinCvs" tab of its preferences dialog. To my knowledge WinCvs does not
honor any HOME environment variable, if it exists.
