Nesting projects: msg#00334

Subject: Nesting projects
Hi,

I've got a newbie question. Every cvs repository I've used
has had a flat list of modules. How can I satisfy my complex
        hierarchy fetish?

        If I have a repository with projects A, B, C, and D. And I
        want to make B and C subprojects of A. When I checkout A, I
        also get it's subprojects B and C. But when I check out B, I
get only B, and B gets treated like a it's own module by cvs,
and makes me feel warm all over when I see it all listed as if
it were a directory tree in viewcvs.

Is this what rtag is for? I think I can do everything with
rtag but make the directory structure look pretty. Is there a
clean/recommended way to use submodules like this, or must I
abandon my filesystem-centric view of the world?
