Consider this a major objection. Given the security risk,
I have no aversion to having this disabled by default in the
CVSROOT/cvsconfig
file. That said, we are definitely using this functionality - even to the
point of having some of our tools and processes depend on it. So completely
removing it would force us to start maintaining our own version with the
functionality re-added.
