bug received in commit operation: msg#00096version-control.cvs.bugs
Hi, I have installed a cvs server on a solaris 5.8 (downloaded binary from http://ftp.cvshome.org/unix/sunos/cvs-1.11.2-SUNOS-5.6.gz) and access it from nt machines in the pserver protocol. for one commit I got the following message: CVSROOT: :pserver:itair@shemesh:/usr/local/cvsDB (password authentication) TCL is *not* available, shell is disabled cvs commit -m "no message" dealmgr.jpx (in directory D:\DEVELOPMENT\servlets\dealmgr\) cvs [server aborted]: received abort signal Assertion failed: ptr >= rcsbuf_buffer && ptr < rcsbuf_buffer + rcsbuf_buffer_size, file /u/scjones/cvs-nightly/src/rcs.c, line 1095 *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** When I switched back to version 1.11.1p1
the operation worked fine. Thank you, Ariel Kroszynski.
