Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. version-control.codeville.devel

Subject: RE: creating branches

Ok, that makes sense. I've never used subversion, so that would explain my
bafflement. Glad it's easier with Codeville.

Thanks for the info!

The server keeps a copy of the history. When you do the commit, any history
in the client which the server doesn't have is sent over. The server keeps a
single .cdv directory in which all the history from all the branches it
knows about are intermingled.

Branches on the server should feel familiar to anyone who has used
subversion, only without the pain and restrictions associated with branching
and merging in that system.
