Which brings me to another question. If I create a branch like this: cdv create <URL2> cdv -R <URL2> commit Does it store the branch in the URL (the one I created initially) or somewhere else? Does it create a new .cdv directory somewhere (I don't think so, but for completeness ...). What does the branch do (I'm familiar with branches a la PVCS, SourceSafe, StarTeam, etc). I'm just trying to understand, from a user prospective, what happens. Thanks a bunch! Mike
