Re: Re: How to access local BK repositories after 1st?July?: msg#00022version-control.bitkeeper.user
> What are the plans for openlogging.org shutdown? There will be no shutdown in the forseeable future. There are number of projects which are converting over to commercial but will remain open source, openlogging.org will continue to be useful for them. That goes for both openlogging.org and bkbits.net. Nothing will go away, http access to bkbits will be there indefinitely. That includes the ability to extract patches via BK/Web. What this means for everyone is that if you want to be absolutely positive that you can get at your data after July 1 then stick it on bkbits.net and at the very least you have patch access. As well as bk2cvs exports. For those of you who are commercial users nothing will change, bkbits.net will continue to work for you as it does today and any other commercial users will be able to clone/pull/whatever. I know it's not as good as everyone can get at things using BK but the idea is that all the commercial users can keep on using bkbits.net without any change. -- --- Larry McVoy lm at bitmover.com http://www.bitkeeper.com
