migrating to tla: msg#00964

Subject: migrating to tla
Hi,

This past weekend I got, compiled and tested tla-1.0.4. I'm VERY IMPRESSED,
now I'd like to do the same at work, however I have a proyect under active
development, and I read on this list, that there might be some problems
when migrating from larch-1.0pre24 or earlier to tla. I'm currently using
larch-1.0pre17 at work. And cannot lose any of the stuff that's currently
under development.

What exactly are the risks? Are there really any if I simply start using
tla instead of larch? Should I simply wait until the development of my
proyect get's to a more stable point (so that history is not so important),
and then do the update?

Thank you in advance for any comments on this.

Carlos
