im new to this community!!im a linux newbie!!
very recently ive installed mandriva 2006(the one that came along vth LFY
feb2006)..
during the installation ive configured my network card(realtekRTL 8139)..and
supplied the ipadress,subnetmask,gateway and DNS...
on my first boot..im unable to connect to the internet...though checked ping
<IP adrs> in my shell..and there was a reply...showing i received packets...
my mobo is ASUS A8NVM CSM ..ive got an onboard LAN..but im not using it coz of
driver issues....can someone plz help me configure my network...
my board has integrated vga Geforce 6150+ nforce 430..i couldnt find Geforce
6150 while configuring my graphics card(it had Geforce 6800)...so i used frame
buffer...
can someone plz help me configure my network settings and my graphics
settings....
