Hi,
On a LAN with NT-4 PDC, we also have a linux (RH9)
mail/web/proxy/samba server. I have a php-4 script on the linux
server which authenticates users against their linux accounts.
However, since the users log into the LAN using NT authentication, I
want authentication of the user against their logon status with the NT
to avoid dual authentication. Is this possible? I couldn't find any docs.
In other words, if the user is already authenticated on the NT server,
is there any way to get this indication using a php script on linux?
The samba (3.0) settings on the linux server are:
security = server
password server = <NT Server>
Can anyone help or point me to any docs that can help?
