Re: Talk on Linux Certification Courses: msg#00078

Subject: Re: Talk on Linux Certification Courses
Hi all,

The intent of the mail was not to criticise people holding particular
opinions. It was just to convey the idea that we do not know about
them irrespective of our skill level.

The whole point of certification boils down to education Vs learning
debate. I think both are important. So, there is no point arguiong
about it.

The talk is not to encourage people to do certification. It is just to
inform people on what certifications are. Personally, i was ambarased
when my cousin enquired about RHCE and i couldn't point him even to
decent links even after googling. So i feel that we should have this talk.
