Re: Configuring XFree86 4.3.0

Actually, I dropped using the Chips & Technologies driver and went with
the generic VESA driver.  Now I get 800x600x256 in X.

I have to do a graceful warm boot to get back to the console, but then I
use X so little that it is hardly a concern.
