When gpm is unloaded, links doesn't respond to the mouse. Incidentally, my version of Links refuses to recognize X as a driver. It only claims there are two drivers, svgalib and fb, and it also refuses to use fb. The distro is Slackware 9.1. Nearly everything installed, except for GNOME.
