Subject: srvices accessible only from localhost

i hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. mine was an adventure to
say the least *sigh* toddlers...

i'm just getting my second linux box up, and i've discovered that i am
only able to access my machines locally. for example, 'barfy' is a
caching-only name server. it resolves for itself just fine, but not for
any other machines on my network. ipchains is wide open with a default
accept policy. i started to play with other services, and discovered
that i can't ssh between linux boxes. i am able to ping between them,
but that's it. anyone know what's going on here? thanks.
