WARNING: Failed to install socket filter: msg#00450user-groups.linux.kansascity
Hi everyone, I installed nagios on a redhat 8.0 box with 3 virtual IP's. When I first pulled up the service detail page it showed most of my hosts being critical, all with the error 'WARNING: Failed to install socket filter: protocol not available'. If I stop nagios I can manually ping these hosts without getting this error, but as soon as I restart nagios, the errors return. Anyone have any ideas?
