new wireless card SMC2635W

I got this card on sale at MicroCenter for $29 w/ a $10 rebate = $19.  
The Linux Wlan page said it worked and I found a bunch of postings about 
it.  Has anybody gotten it to work under Linux.  I downloaded the source 
drivers from   http://www.admtek.com.tw/download/ADM8211.htm   v1.05, 
but haven't messed w/ it yet.  By the way, ADMtek is the chip 
manufacturer for the chip inside the SMC card, the D-link 650+ and some 
others.  See the table of cards at the linux wlan site.
