I think you should just run the RH instalation and format the partitions of Mandrak installation. You can even remove them and create new ones.
just make sure that you leave the FAT/FAT32 partition intact.
The latter should do the job just fine.

P.S.: Tell me in you managed to install Oracle under Linux. I a aso very ch intersted to get a copy of it if you can to use it for testing :)
