OK, rekan milist ,saya coba bantu rekan kita ini, semoga membantu
1. Untuk membuat cache_dir --> pastikan dulu di squid.conf nya ( jika mau
pake /home/squid/cache/ ) <----- misalnya ..
2. mkdir /home/squid/cache
3. Kemudian buat user & group nya ( misal user squid groupnya users ) -> cara
nya sperti biasa kalo kita mau bikin user.
4. Supaya /home/squid/cache nya bisa dipakai oleh user squid , ubah
kepemilkannya ... # chown -R squid.users /home/squid/cache ( sesuaikan dengan
user & group nya baru saja Anda buat )
5. Kemudian buat swap squid nya .. # /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -z (
sesuaikan dengan Linux box Anda , saya memakai slackware..).
6. Jalankan squid , dengan sekalian nge-cek apakah masih ada yg kurang....
misal saya cuman jalankan # /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -sYD & kalo kita
lihat dari services nya memang jalan tp beberapa saat ... langsung ilang...
Nah lebih baik jalankan # /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -NsY & --> command
tersebut akan menampilkan configuration squid cek yg error .... terutama
cache_log nya .
Jika masih ada errorr , cek squid.conf sesuaikan dengan yg error tadi .
