KUOSC- Kathmandu University Open Source Community. Its not just a Linux User Group but is a Community as FOSS-Nepal Community. As its been established by KU students and same are actively organizing events related to FOSS, got its name as KUOSC. 
First University level Open Source Community and probably first Open Source Community in Nepal.

We are not confined within Linux.

There were and are two basic objectives of KUOSC:
to stop use of pirated and even proprietary softwares in University.
Make Locality Free from monopoly.
