Their prices are a bit less, and they provide free developer certificates
-that's good because your paid certificate isn't necessary until you are
ready to 'go live'.

Subject: [padnug] SSL certificates
Hi Group,
I am building a website that will require SSL security. I am seeking advise
from people who have purchased and are using security certificates. I have
googled the topic and of course there are several options and the prices
vary. If anyone has purchased certificates and could offer some advice
about which source they purchased from and how happy they have been with
what they received I would appreciate the feedback.
I have see Verisigns prices compared to others and they seem to be high, but
they may offer more services or their service might be better than the
others. I have also seen free certificates offered, however, I am not sure
that a free certificate is acceptable for a commercial website.
Feedback would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd
