Subject: RE: Where do you find IT clients?
Tom Howe has spoken to PADNUG in the past. This next Tuesday, June 27th, he
will be speaking at the Oregon Computer Consultants Association meeting. The
topic is ?The Business Side of Consulting?. See
http://occa.org/cgi-bin/fullmtg.pl?mtgid=42 for details. Tom is a great
speaker and well worth the time.

I think PADNUG is due for a seminar about selling yourself as a
consultant.
All small business owners need to wear the salesman/marketer hat from time
to time. Software guys would probably like to not have to think about it
though. My 2 cents.
