I am seeking a Website Design and Implementation Contractor. This
is for a company located in Wenatchee, WA. Contactor would have to
meet with company several times on-site during the project to get
things scoped out and make sure things are on track. (located
approximately 3 hours east of Seattle).
Duration will be approximately 3 months.
Market Rate
Website is technically lacking necessary functionality. The chosen
professional would be asked to bring the website up to date, as well
as technically using the following criteria:
Requirements:
? Simple and clean interface.
? Easy to navigate (search field on every page).
? Warm colors (PMS 294 is companies blue color).
? Mix rural feel of location along with technology.
? Integrate mission of providing the best possible services at the
lowest possible cost consistent with sound business principles into
the feel of the website.
? Layout and design will be implemented with ASP.NET 2.0
technologies. This includes Master Pages, Styles, Themes, and Skins
using CSS.
? Site content, Rports, and job listings will be stored in an SQL
Server 2005 Express database.
? Site will include authentication and role based security
functionality using the ASP.Net 2.0 Provider Model (SQL Server 2005
Express provider).
? Site content will be fully searchable.
? Meeting Report upload and maintenance functionality with access
controlled through role based security.
? Provide Job upload and maintenance functionality with access
controlled through role based security.
? Feedback form. All entries are stored in the database as well as
emailed to a configurable distribution list.
? Transfer content from existing web site to the newly created
database. This content contains inline formatting and will require
HTML updates in order to utilize newly created CSS. In total, there
are around 575 pages of content.
? HTML rendered shall be Section 508 compliant.
? HTML rendered shall pass XHTML validation.
? Four RSS feeds: Job listings ? Reports ? Site content ?
Combination of the three.
? Utilize URL Rewriting to provide user friendly paths to content.
? Mobile browser aware. Site should be able to render content with
minimal graphics for mobile users. This could be accomplished
through alternate layouts.
