Probably doesn't help much, but it works just fine for me both as a Virtual PC
instance (which emulates an Intel 21140-Based PCI Fast Internet or so the Local
Area Connection properties tell me) and on my Dell Latitude D800 (which uses a
Broadcom 570x adapter).
I could very well be wrong about this, but I was under the impression that most
any Windows XP network and video driver should work with Vista. Have you tried
the regular Windows XP (32-bit) driver for your card?

Subject: [padnug] Longhorn beta 1 ethernet card driver
Have anyone had successfully made the ethernet work on Longhorn beta 1? If
you did, please let me know the card brand and driver you used. I had 64-bit
Nvidia nForce 3 on board LAN. I have tried 64bit XP ethernet driver, but had
no luck.
Thanks,
