Hello,
I am wishing to test a Linux Virtual Server ("LVS") setup
(http://www.linuxvertualserver.com) prior to deploying it in a production
environment. LVS requires a couple of kernel patches, whcih is usually no
problems. However, I also assumed that I had to compile a new user-Mode-Linux
kernel to boot with. Would this be correct? The reason I ask is because I did
download a vanilla kernel (2.4.22), and applied the UML and LVS patches. But
when I ran 'make menuconfig ARCH=um', there were no options for LVS (mostly to
do witht he load-balancing options)
Any light you can help shed on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Alan Murrell <alan@xxxxxxxxxxx>
