There are some solutions like "umld" http://uml.openconsultancy.com/umld/.
We started also a project with the goal to develop a managment tool
for uml-systems.
It will be:
* written in Perl (object-oriented)
* support different network-connection types
* comfortable handling of the system-consoles
* available as debian-packet (maybe also as redhat package)
* will be under GNU licence
* ...
We (three students) do this as student research project for our university.
I think we will have first releases in the beginning of january....
they will be announced here.
