If you boot UML (any released version) with con=pts (or variants), attach
something like screen to the master end of the pts (/dev/pts/X) to view the
console, and then quit that application (or have it close /dev/pts/X), that
pseudo tty will go away and you won't be able access the console anymore. If
I understand correctly, this is standard pseudo TTY behavior.
Also, mconsole requests (such as 'config con0', 'remove con0', and 'reboot')
never get a response (but the UML isn't hung).
Anyhow, Is there a way to get the console back in this case, perhaps have it
open a new pts device, aside from rebooting the UML?
