Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone knows what kind of open source software
is available for use by blind persons. We use Jaws at the moment, but it is
expensive and prospective employers are hesitant to buy expensive software for
a new disabled employee (almost 97% of blind people in South Africa
are unemployed). If there are such programs out there, how do they compare to
Jaws in terms of stability, keyboard use and screen reading? I hope someone can
help!
