I've started trying to make the spec more persuasive. Part of the
problem is that I had never imagined that the CC would be reviewing the
spec, so I hadn't bothered about this before, but now I see the need to
make this convincing.

I'd love it if people would have a look at the revised spec and suggest
any improvements.
