Transient Debian problem

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
The attachment relates a problem which will probably be fixed before it 
affects anyone,
with the exception of the most adventurous Debian/Ubuntu/Knoppix  modem 
users.
I am sending it only so that it acquires a URL, that Users can be 
directed to if necessary.
