I can't duplicate the problem in krita on up-to-date dapper, and the
linked upstream bug report claims the bug was fixed some time ago.  Let
me add that volunteer developers of free software will often be
unresponsive to users who suggest that it is the 'responsibility' of
anyone to fix the bug, especially in response to a suggestion that you
may have reported your bug in the wrong place.  Please consider using
more honey and less vinegar, and you may get better results from bug
reports.
