Hi,

On Jamendo artists can add tags to describe the software they use. I've seen lot's of open source applications in these tags, like Ardour, Rosegarden, Audacity.... Perhaps something to look into :-p. Maybe these people can be contacted for representation on a list, or for asking their opinions on the software they use.
