        This information may be of use to some others on the list, so I'll 
post it there as well as directly to you.

        If your computer is using a fixed IP address, you probably have to 
set up the DNS servers IP addresses manually.  When your ISP changes 
them, you may not know about it.

        If you are using a router, it is most likely set up to automatically 
discover the current DNS servers for your ISP.  You can log on to 
your router and examine it's setup to get the current primary and 
secondary DNS addresses.

        My router is a Linksys model, so I set my browser to view 
http://192.168.1.1/Status_Router.htm to see it's current 
status.  Your mileage may vary.

        There probably is a better way to find out what you need to know and 
surely someone on the list will say so. Though with Windows 98 your 
choices may be limited.
