Will xmltv PERL scripts run on Windows using ActivePERL?: msg#00011

Subject: Will xmltv PERL scripts run on Windows using ActivePERL?
Hi,

Background: I have windows xp and the binary version of xmltv (i.e. xmltv.exe).
I would like to run some of the
latest tv_grab_au scripts which have been posted (that use a non-default source
for the data) however what is
the easiest way to do this? (e.g. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?
t=5625&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= )

a) will xmltv PERL scripts run on Windows using ActivePERL? (if yes are there
any specific instructions/steps I
should follow)

b) can xmltv.exe (from the windows binary distribution) be used to run it
somehow? (would be easier)  There
would need to be a command line parameter to point it to the new PERL script.

c) is there a way to get a new build of xmltv.exe with this enabled? (I assume
no)

Thanks
