If you don't like it, don't use it.
If you try to do some more research before you say something you would
see that it's not xmltv that is the problem. It's the listing providers
and sometimes the software that uses xmltv listings. Remember that most
of the grabbers are pure hacks, with the exception of tv_grab_na_dd and
tv_grab_se_swedb of which the developers have used a lot of time to get
a cooperation with the listingproviders going.

The API to xmltv is excellent. It's a perl application ment to be used
in perl scripts.

Whenever you install an app in windows and move it to a new folder you
will get problems. That's the nature of windows.
If you feel that you don't get what you need from XMLTV then get a perl
book and start helping out. That's what I did. I didn't know a single
perl fragment before I set out to make tv_grab_no.
