Summary: tv_grab_fr doesn't work

Initial Comment:
i recently installed xmltv 0.5.35 on my gentoo linux
system...
when i run tv_grab_fr --configure, i get the following
output :
-------------------------------------------------------
tv_grab_fr --configure
using config filename /root/.xmltv/tv_grab_fr.conf
The configuration file /root/.xmltv/tv_grab_fr.conf
already exists. There is currently no support for
altering an
existing configuration: you have to reconfigure from
scratch.

Do you wish to overwrite the old configuration? [yes,no

getting channel lists: No channels could be found at

upgrading to 0.5.36 by hand gives me the same result,
so i don't think it is distribution-related

As stated, changinging from telepoche to tf1.guidetele.com
works. The new tv_grab_fr2 posted works too.

Hi there! All you have to do is to edit tv_grab_fr and
change the URLs from telepoche.guidetele.com to
tf1.guidetele.com

Regards

The french grabber data source is unstable right now. That
are in the middle of a migration to a new web site design.
When using the new design, the old grabber doesn't work.

An early release of the new grabber is available at
http://www.lahiette.com/biboobox/download/tv_grab_fr2

Try that, and please monitor the user mailing list to keep
up with changes.

Robert

Hello,

does the grabber work again? I did a CVS update, but
unfortunately the --configure option does not find any
channels. :-(
Appreciate any help!
