does the cvs tv_grab_uk_rt work for anyone? I just tried it and I
get lots of this

channel orchardfm.musicradio.com (RT id 12) mentioned in channel ids
file but not on site at c:\perl\bin/tv_grab_uk_rt line 134.
channel rockfm.co.uk (RT id 17) mentioned in channel ids file but not
on site at c:\perl\bin/tv_grab_uk_rt line 134.
channel galwaybayfm.ie (RT id 173) mentioned in channel ids file but
not on site at c:\perl\bin/tv_grab_uk_rt line 134.
channel bbc7.bbc.co.uk (RT id 861) mentioned in channel ids file but
not on site at c:\perl\bin/tv_grab_uk_rt line 134.
channel radio-humberside.bbc.co.uk (RT id 770) mentioned in channel
ids file but not on site at c:\perl\bin/tv_grab_uk_rt line 134.

Can the radio channels be excluded?
Can the messages be <80 characters wide?
It prompts for a channel to add, but doesn't list my choices.

I want to release an alpha xmltv.exe, but it doesn't look ready for
that.

Robert

Re: Any update on tv_grab_uk_rt?

All this is excellent news! Thanks to all the XMLTV devs and the folk at Radio Times for getting UK listings back up and running again. It's good to see that RT have already considered a pay-for version to include the radio listings. Cheers, Conan Paul Webster wrote: - Radio channels are missing from the site and you get a ton of warnings about this; I've asked if they can be added. They said to Alan Birtles that Radio would not be included - except perhaps in the future if they made a pay version. Yes, as mentioned in my message to the list. >Can the radio channels be excluded? I left them in because I hoped the radio channels would be added to the RT site data. If the RT people don't plan to include these channels then I will remove them from the channel_ids file. >Can the messages be <80 characters wide? I don't think this is a big deal, the message is fairly concise though the 'at blah line 134' could be removed. >It prompts for a channel to add, but doesn't list my choices. Type a substring. This could be done better I agree. This is the same configuration mechanism as the old tv_grab_uk_rt. >I want to release an alpha xmltv.exe, but it doesn't look ready for >that. Certainly it works better than the grabber in the current exe. -- Ed Avis <ed@xxxxxxxxxxx> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
