I wasn't suggesting that the issue would be with the company you work for,
rather the company that sold you the licence for the compiler.
I work for a company that releases tools, including compilers. If we sell a
compiler licence to somebody we expect them to use the compiler for their
work and their releases. We don't expect them to let other people use it for
other work. Your company bought the licence, and xmltv isn't part of your
company's work, and so if we had sold you the compiler licence we'd be
expecting you to buy another licence, or taking you to court.
