I've noticed there has been a lot of discussions going on in the

there and is probably easier to use than forcing everyone to

some discussions moved to xmltv-users or xmltv-devel.

Agreed. But how to do it? I would like the forums to be gatewayed to
xmltv-users ideally, but I don't think Sourceforge supports this.

no, the only thing that looks available is email notifications of
updates (which I currently get). If we didn't want any discussions
(and are happy with this) to go on in forums, we always reply with
"we should move this discussion to the xmltv-users list" or delete
all the forums and people will know to look for mailing lists.

The alternative is we disable the forums or force forum users to
respond on xmltv-devel.

I would disable the forums, if there were a way to make it clear and
obvious that you should write to xmltv-users with problems.

I've only seen projects where there are no forums, although I guess
we could create a single forum called "Forums disabled, use xmltv-users
list".
