I wanted to comment on your failure (below). Zap2it has been up and down
the last couple of weeks it seems. The best you can do is set your
retry-limit and your retry-delay to higher numbers and let tv_grab_na to
try for a while longer. Most of us run tv_grab_na via cron in the
early morning hours (I'd suggest between 12am and 3am) that way it can
run for a couple of hours and hope things come back up.
Currently tv_grab_na if you use --listings or --output, the output files
are removed if any grab for any channel/day fails. It is this behaviour
that Ed suggested we're contemplating changing. Since the 0.5.2, tv_grab_na
has been fixed to write closing xml stanzas when the grab fails and listings
are being written to stdout.
Probably in the next couple of days you can look forward to the cvs version
of tv_grab_na to have the option of not removing successfully grabbed and
written xml files (ala --listings or --output). I suspect the default will
to not remove them.
All that advise with no real solution :)
