Do you mean timezones, or DST? Or both? I don't think I was assuming that dealing with DST was easy. I think in the general case it's pretty straightforward, but there are a lot of corner cases that need to be dealt with. This is why I was suggesting leveraging the database that exists for this stuff (on Linux and UNIX) already. b. -- Brian J. Murrell
