Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Tk is a natural choice for Perl code. It's a pain in the butt, but for
Perl code it's the best option.

TV_CHECK.EXE is just under 3x the size of TV_GRAB_NA.EXE. I would
think most of that difference is TK. There are a lot of bitmaps that
are probably included. There is no way to create a DLL to share the TK
code between apps.

TK does have a Motif flavor to it. It doesn't look like a windows app.
Java has done a better job making the GUI look native. I don't think
it matters what flavor it has. Is good enough.

My recommendation is to standardize the config files for the grabbers
(or at least certain sections of it). The grabber would run a
"get-baseline" phase, which loads the options. Any app that cares to,
could alter the file and present a GUI to the users. (Similar to having
a program add/remove the # from the tv_grab_na config file).
