Hi,
I am replying directly to you this time because something seems to be up with the lists, hotmail returned my message that I sent to the lists. Could you CC your reply to the lists too. Thanks.

OK.

Reply:
Im using Windows, I dropped in the new files from xmltv-0.5.37-win32.

"However, because you want to start using a different grabber, you need to change some of FreeeGuide's configuration manually by clicking "Tools", "Options" and then choosing "Downloading" under "Advanced". Wherever the grabber command and config command say "tv_grab_uk_bleb" you'll need to replace that with "tv_grab_uk_rt". You'll also need to change "grabber config" line under "Directories" in the same way. Get back in touch telling us what operating system you are on, exactly what you did, and what is happening if it still doesn't work. "

Reply:
Okay, I did that.
As I said in my other email, it doesn't seem to support the --gui command.

Yes, thanks - I hadn't realised this - the rewritten version of tv_gra_uk_rt doesn't support the --gui switch. I've added it to my TODO list to submit a patch for this.

In the meantime the workaround is to configure it manually, by opening a Cmd window and typing:

cd "C:\Program Files\FreeGuide\xmltv
xmltv.exe tv_grab_uk_rt --config-file "tv_grab_uk_rt.conf" --configure

and then following the instructions. When this is finished, you should be able to use FreeGuide to download listings and work normally. Let us know if you have more problems.

Andy

Freeguide cannot download listings anymore or get a list of channels.

Commands:
$"C:\Program Files\Utilities\FreeGuide\xmltv\xmltv.exe" tv_grab_uk_rt --config-file "C:\Program Files\Utilities\FreeGuide\xmltv\tv_grab_uk_rt.conf" --configure --gui

Output:
Timezone is GMT

To grab listings: tv_grab_uk_rt [--config-file FILE] [--output FILE] [--quiet]
List channels only: tv_grab_uk_rt --list-channels [--output FILE] [--quiet]

Changing --gui to --list-channels doesn't work either.

Thanks
