Magma now integrated in Phex (YAML-based magnet-container): msg#00005text.yaml.general
Hi, I just wanted to let you know, that Magma (A YAML-based magnet- container I created) is now integrated in Phex, a GPLed Gnutella client ( http://phex.org ), in which Users can output their file-list to Magma-lists and readout those lists and retrieve the magnets from them (to automatically download multiple files). It doesn't yet use many of the features of YAML, but through the use of YAML, Magma became extensive enough, that many future uses become possible. It is, for example, now used to retrieve program updates for Phex by using it as server-based container for an update-magnet. Why not XML? Because a standard-user won't be able to read and understand that. More informationa bout Magma is avaible on http://gnuticles.de At the moment work is being done to make it possible to include any foreign file-type (like torrents). PS: You might consider taking down or restricting access to your wiki, it has been heavily spammed. I just reverted it to Rev1, to take down the spam. Best Wishes, Arne
