TM Question: msg#00010

Subject: TM Question
Hi to All,

I am new to Topic Maps ? have spent the last month immersing myself into the
papers and archives to get up to speed.  I am quite impressed with the
diligence and thoroughness of the core group who has documented TMs and
brought the standard to its current state.

My focus is on building tools that look-for/assess/track relationships
between people (for findability, BI workflow assessment and security).  TM?s
have caught my interest as one possible output structure, for all the
reasons that are familiar to this community.  One specific aspect of our
data set is that relationships/associations are adorned with ranking
attributes, like strength, validity, etc.  I am wondering if anyone has
tackled that aspect of TM usage.

Thank you and the Best in the New Year to All,
  Greg
