I'm not familiar with this area, but there are two related pieces of

Thanks for mentioning SNAPI :-). Actually, our student
team is working hard on its implementation. A SOAP binding
prototyp is already running in our lab. But there is
no documentation yet. As planned, everything will be
published in July with sourceforge.
