Well, friends, it is really happening. Some of you know that I have
been working for a long time on a book about the Semantic Web, and it is
finally about to be published. The title of the book is
Explorer's Guide to the Semantic Web
It is being published by Manning (www.manning.com). The publisher just
told me that it should be available in electronic form from their web
site in about a week, from them in paper in about 3 weeks, and from
bookstores in 6-8 weeks.

Tom,
My congratulations on your upcoming book -- it's certain to be
both interesting and compelling reading for those of us in the
field(s), and you'll certainly find a copy on my bookshelf when
it becomes available (not that it will sit there unread...).
Hopefully it will help reduce some of the the marketing fluff-
style noise surrounding the Semantic Web, provide a focus point
for better integration between the related communities, and spur
many further conversations.
I look forward to its publication, as I'm certain others do too.
