Subject: ANNOUNCEMENT: Topic Maps tutorial at WWW2003 conference, Budapest , May 20-24

Announcement: Bringing Topic Maps to the Web community

After a successful "XTM - XML Topic Maps" tutorial
at WWW2002 (Honolulu) the WWW2003 conference committee
selected my tutorial again.

WWW2003 (http://www2003.org/) will take place May 20-24
in Budapest, Hungary. Tutorial day is Tuesday May 20.

The full-day tutorial "XTM - XML Topic Maps" will provide
the delegates with substantial knowledge about topic maps,
their concepts, the differences to RDF, and their
applications, and how to develop them. Furthermore, a
workshop-like interactive creation of an example topic
map will make the tutorial very valuable for the attendees.
At the end of the day, the participants learned how to
apply topic maps to their own information resources and
are able to use topic maps with the freely distributed
software.

Find more information at http://www2003.org/tutorials.htm#TF2

NB: My tutorial has to compete with "Getting into RDF
and the Semantic Web using N3" presented by Dan Connolly and
Tim Berners-Lee -- a really strong competitor ;-)

Regards,
--Holger
