There was a BEA proposal. For my money, it was based far too much on
relational thinking, for example it took no account of the fact that
ordering is meaningful in XML and often plays a role in grouping problems.
Examples are the "group adjacent bullets" problem, or the "group each pair
consisting of a speaker and the immediately following speech".
